Based in central Connecticut, Integrative Mindfulness was founded in 2008 to help integrate mindfulness practice into healthcare and society. For more than 30 years, scientific studies have shown Mindfulness practice to be effective for the treatment of pain, anxiety, and many other conditions which are known to be caused or exacerbated by stress.
Our workshops and retreats are designed for anyone who would like to learn healthy ways to deal with stress. In fact, a number of nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff in the Middlesex Hospital community, and their friends and family members, have taken our Mindfulness courses in order to reduce stress in their own lives.
